November 2018, I gave a lecture about the practice of curating for the volunteers of Mooss vzw. In the introduction, I discussed various possible responsibilities of a curator, at the same time pointing to the impossibility of a clear definition. Next, the possible tasks of a curator were explained based on three personal case studies. Finally, some time was devoted to answering the questions from the audience. The lecture was mainly intended for people who have not had much experience with curatorial practice but have interest to compose an exhibition.
